Filming the Swimming Fields

Last night we lit the sky on fire. Crates and crates of fireworks went off in our rolling field and we filmed it. The 'hero truck', a 1970's gunmetal blue pick up fishtailed in the tall grass while fire flew out from the bed. Dave says you have to make an effort not to burn out putting it into first. I know it was just a scene but it was also important because it's one of those moments in life too-- the night where you light off fireworks and spin in a circle with sparklers and fight on tops of hay bales, it is amazing but it is also sad because it ends. Because unfortunately nothing in life is as perfect as the moment where you laugh until you exhaust yourself and light everything on fire.

Skype date tomorrow hopefully if this place doesn't get swept away in a hurricane wind.
